PROJECT DETAILS:
There were 2 Durma press brake with Cybelec ModEva10S controller in the customer factory. One machine is 220 Tons and another one is 320 Tons with Siemens backgauge servo motors and drivers. The controllers ModEva10S started to give trouble to company and decided to retrofit controllers.
We discussed over email and selected the model of the controller from Step Automation press brake controllers family, we offered Rock 17 and Rock 22 controllers. Eventually customer decided to use Rock 17.
Step Automation Rock 17 Controller, 17 inch glass capasitive Touch Screen, you can use it with glove, 3D Profile/3D Standart/Manual Editor and 3D Simulation with search the best bending sequence automaticaly.
We send parts to Peru and then started to retrofit machines one by one.
We took fist backup from old Modeva10S controllers. Then programmed Step Automation Rock 17 controller’s parameters according to backups.
We prepared a wiring map from old controllers CNC rack to new controllers Motion4 and Motion3 PLC modules.
Thanks to maintenance technician in our customer, who followed all instruction step by step and eventually we run the press brake with new Rock17 controller without any problem.
We organized an online training for operators and send them also videos to teach the new controller.
